For more than 50 years,this Portuguese family business,nestled on the outskirts of Fatima,has been producing some of the most exquisite wax objects the world over. It all began when the company’s founder started making religious candles for his neighborhood church. The wax had to be of the utmost quality to ensure the candles would last until the end of the religious processions and keep their shape as they were moved from place to place. Today, although times have changed, the quality of Manulena wax remains the same.
